“Simon”在本例中是一個權(quán)威人物 (就像游戲中Simon所說的)

I shall give my interpretation of the music video

It is good to know that 'Simon' in this case is an authoritative figure (like in the game simon says)

WARNING, THIS IS A LONG POST LOL

1) We first see TY wearing his mask, taking it off and throwing it in the glass box with sand. Now, you can kind of say this box is like a 'temporary jail', as sand is unsustainable. He then drags the destructed chair, and sits on it. I'd like to see him as the '1st rebellion' against 'Simon'.

2) Look at TY's clothes - You see how his sleeves in the beginning has ropes sort of 'hanging' - a possible indication that he 'broke free' from Simon's regulations. All the members have the same sort of shoes, their laces are tied up to their ankles, suggesting that they are 'trapped' within this society. The fact that TY's laces are still the same shows how his 'rebellion' is only temporary (links to the sand idea). He is still a slave to the system.

3) The masks represent entrapment but the fact that they are all different, shows that they are their own individuals and not 'mindless robots', as 'Simon' wants them to be.

So in 0:34 , you see the other boys circle around TY, it's as if he is igniting a 'rebellion'. We see Johnny take off his mask, and then Winwin (however he remains kind of 'robotic' and emotionless - will explain why later). They are all circling this weird set of 'stairs' and a 'doorway' - I see this as some sort of doorway to freedom. So between 0:57 - 1:00 , we see the members sitting down on the steps, and see how the doorway has opened up (the set moved positions), showing how they have escaped. The green lighting also shows a sense of something being 'out of order', as the color scheme has been 'tainted'. However, as you can see, only 7 members are there (missing ones are Taeil, Haechan and WinWin)

4) At 1:23 , you see Taeil sitting on the chair (he's rebelling too), and Haechan waking up next to him, they look at one another, as if teaming up to rebel. Forgot to mention that winwin is the only member wearing this 'banner/ribbon thing' across his chest that says Bellisima which means beautiful - idk if this is just the choice of the styler, but I personally believe WinWin is Simon, and faking to be part of the rebellions (links to his facial expressions as mention in 3) - the 'beautiful' banner could mean that he, as simon, views this toxic/trapped society as 'beautiful'.

5) The red lambo (car) is like an escape 'dream' car, and they use it to escape from this world - they use it go to the conference table place (you see how the outfits are more colourful - showing freedom). We see the members sitting down there with mics, almost speaking out to the world - 'exposing simon'. @ 1:47 there is fast zoom on the car's number plate which says '111111' - 11/11/11 has links to the idea of a 'spiritual awakening', a new age of enlightenment (links to the idea of a revolution). However, in the bible, it also has links to being a spiritual deception that seduces humanity with the idea of becoming 'Gods' (in the lyrics they mention 'I'm God'). So basically, the rebellions think they are gods who can 'change the world', but in the end, there can only really be 1 god, in this case, Simon.

6) At 2:02 , you see Winwin lying down on his own with all mics pointing at him, he is not actively speaking, almost showing as if he doesn't care, suggesting that he is 'simon' as obviously, Simon isn't going to go against himself, this juxtaposes Haechan at 2:13 , as he is sitting down, actively speaking and spreading across his rebellious message, as he himself is a true 'rebellion'.

7) With Yuta backing up into the dark at 2:40 , it's like as if Simon is taking back control of his people now, and taking them one by one. At 2:49 , the lighting of the 'white box area' is red, as if there is a 'danger or threat' coming. This lighting juxtaposes with the purple one at 2:47 , Purple has strong links with the idea of royalty and power - It's almost like the rebellions are trying to fight back against Simon's rise to power. At 3:04 , we see the sand box again and see all of their masks are inside, but like I said, this rebellion is temporary and time is running out. I feel like Doyoung sitting in front of the broken computers, Taeil sitting infront of the 3 tv sets, Jungwoo sitting in the conference room has some sort of significance - like they are trying to protect it away from simon - trying to make this rebellion 'permanent'. At 3:05 You then see Winwin (simon) falling, it's like his downfall, how he has lost against the rebellions.

8) As soon as Simon falls, the computer turns on (showing a sense of everything is back to normal without an overbearing figure like simon), The empty conference room shows that there is no one there in power (you can see the glass cup has fell too, like simon). Anyways, the end few seconds are kind of like a celebration - (yes I know you can see win win when they are all sitting in front of the lambo, but he's still part of 127 and gotta lip sync stuff lol). The end shot is in red lighting - further indicating the rebellions have won.
